We Don't Win, But We Don't Fail Either

In a rather odd vote of confidence type speech today, U of M athletic director Joel Maturi announced that Dan Monson will continue to serve as Gophers men's basketball coach. Maturi backed up his decision by explaining that Monson has a good record of graduating his student athletes which was an obvious downfall of his predecessor, Clem Haskins. I'd just like to inform Joel that it is possible to find a division I worth coach who will win AND manage to keep the university out of a major academic scandal. Those coaches do exist. Really they do.
