Ken Faffler And His Moronic Goals
Have you ever been reading an article in a newspaper while eating and read something so hideous that it causes you to spit your food out of your mouth and across the room. I just had one of those moments as I was reading a Star Tribune piece about higher enrollment figures at Chrisitan colleges in Minnesota.
In the article, Northwestern Bible College Director of Admissions Ken Faffler declares war on - of all things - coed dorm rooms and political correctness! Oh no, not that, anything but that!
Here's the full quote from the story:
Faffler said families look to schools like his partly because of nervousness about public schools.
"They see news about coed rooms, coed bathrooms ... political correctness, all that kind of stuff," he said. "I think people are getting fed up with it ... and saying, 'Geez, I'm not going to stick my son or daughter in that lifestyle.'"
In typical Evangelical fashion, Faffler attempts to simplify all that is wrong with America by pointing to a few things supported by Liberals. It's hypocrisy at its best. Like when they assemble a "summit" to talk about marriage, but instead of addressing the real issues facing American families like divorce and adultery, they decide to strategize against homosexually.
I'm just wondering what it's going to take for Evangelicals to realize that they are doing more to polarize Christians than to bring them together like God would want.
As for Faffler, I'd like to personally wish him good luck on his goal of ridding his college's campus of political correctness. All I can say is, THANK GOD I didn't go to school there.

Dear Matt,
As a person well-associated with written media, you should know by now that you can't always believe what you read in the papers. Is that what you call investigative journalism?
I'd say you fall into the Christian hater camp. BTW, the school you reference has not been a bible college since 1966. And, there is hypocrisy in any college campus. wake up.
